¶ Getting a Talisman wallet
- Head to Talisman.xyz and click ‘download’ in the top right
- Click ‘add to chrome’ on the pop up that is displayed. A new tab will open in your browser once the extension is downloaded.
- In the new tab that is opened, click ‘Get Started’

- If this is your first time setting up a wallet for Polkadot or Kusama, click ‘Create a new account’
⚠️ If you are creating a new account please make sure to save your seedphrase into a secure location, so that you can refer back to it in the event of an account recovery.
If you have previously used Metamask, Polkadot.js or any other wallet, click ‘I already have one’

If you selected, ‘Create a new account’, add a name for your account (this can be changed later) and click ‘Create account’.

Enter a password for your new account and click ‘Let’s do this’.
¶ Connecting your Talisman Wallet
🗣️ We recommend connecting to the Marketplace via a desktop connection for the best experience.

Your Talisman wallet is already configured with the correct network and assets, unlike Metamask there is nothing additional you need to do in order to be setup and ready to connect to the Moonsama Marketplace.

Head to https://marketplace.moonsama.com/. This will open up this page which is the Moonsama marketplace:
- Click the ‘connect’ button in the top right hand corner:
- Click Talisman in the pop-up that appears
- Select the account you’d like to connect to the Marketplace
- If you need to switch networks inside Talisman, click, ‘1 Connected’ in the top of the wallet
- Then click the network at the top, a dropdown will appear and select the ‘Moonriver’ network
- If you don’t need to switch network, you have successfully connected to the Moonriver network and the Moonsama Marketplace 🎉
